I first tried Havel scissors when I was given a pair of the 5 1/2" curved tip embroidery scissors. I couldn’t believe how well they cut – perfect for close work and snipping off those loose ends. I loved them so much I wrote a post on my blog.
Since I was always reaching for them, I bought another pair for my paper projects. Since then I have purchased two of the new Teflon coated scissors. They are great for regular cutting, but especially when I am using something sticky including fusible web. They don't gum up like my other scissors. Since I work in both paper and fabric I will probably need another set of them for my paper projects.I just received the Havel's pinking shears. My old ones are way too heavy and really hard to use. As with all of Havel's scissors they are lightweight. Now, these are not as light as the others since they are pinkers, but are easy to use and make such clean and smooth cuts.I usually don't go on and on about scissors, but I really love Havel's. They are lightweight and cut so smoothly with little effort. With their comfortable pink handles they are easy to find in my stash and to top it off, they are pretty!
