I just wanted to let you know that I am in love with Havel Scissors. I have 6 pairs, and they are wonderfully sharp and work for quilting as well as embroidery. I have not purchased a set of Dress-Maker Sheers yet, but that is on my list. I am a member of quiltboard.com and have mentioned Havel's several times in my blogs. The catalogs are very descriptive, and the only occasion that I have had to use Customer Service, it was a pleasant, positive response. They ship shortly after the order is received, so there is no long wait for that perfect pair of scissors.
